Noce, 1326 Walnut St., Des Moines, IA 50309

"Nowhere with Love" is produced by Max Wellman. On the heels of their very successful run of Sinatra-themed concerts, Max & the big band embark on the renowned original music of Harry Connick, Jr., focusing mainly on the acclaimed albums from the early ‘90s such as Blue Light, Red Light, Come By Me, To See You, the soundtrack from When Harry Met Sally, & more. These songs were the first that Wellman heard as a child, convincing him from an early age to pursue jazz & the Great American Songbook.

Vocalist Max Wellman is enticing music lovers throughout the region. With a sound evoking the likes of Sinatra and Connick, Wellman’s recordings & performances promise that the Great American Songbook is alive & well for a new generation of listeners.

Wellman co-founded Noce, a state-of-the-art jazz club in the Western Gateway neighborhood of downtown Des Moines. Additionally, Wellman has appeared at some of the great clubs throughout the country, from Dizzy's Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center to Andy's Jazz Club in Chicago to Dazzle in Denver & many in between.
